Amanda was born in Smithfield, NC, has lived in 9 states, and after spending 30 years in Texas, she is excited to call Perdido Key, Florida home. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Purdue University in 1991. She began her career as a Recruiter with the recruitment research firm from which Thorn was founded, and has enjoyed a 35-year career with the company. Her passion is connecting talent, and she is known for building bridges; she has friends all across North America that include Thorn Alumni, Thorn clients, and Thorn candidates.

Under Amanda's leadership, Thorn has been honored to receive numerous awards of excellence, including Dallas Business Journal's Best Places to Work, along with the Rising Star and Bronze awards for Best Recruiting Team of the Year from Dallas HR and Texas Recruiters Network. Amanda has invested in the talent acquisition community over the years by training many Fortune 500 companies on passive talent recruiting, sitting on HR/talent boards, and developing some of the best and brightest talent leaders in the nation.

Outside of Thorn, Amanda spends her time on the six 'F's—Faith, Family, Friends, Food, Fitness, and Finance. She has enjoyed spending time with her husband, Tony, for 38 years. If you know her, then you know how proud she is of their 28-year-old twins. Amanda spends her Saturday mornings volunteering for St. Vincent de Paul, and her afternoons watching and/or playing sports. Amanda is also an avid pickle ball player and loves living on the beach, still making connections from there!

Leann, originally from Houston, TX, earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a Human Resource Management emphasis from University of Houston – Main Campus and had the opportunity to intern with fantastic organizations like the EEOC and CDW. Shortly after graduation she began her career within recruiting at Thorn Recruitment and is now going on a decade of employment with the company working on Leadership, HR, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, R&D, Administrative, Operations, and Support roles at all levels. She is passionate about helping talented individuals get their dream jobs, taking care of her wonderful clients, and working with her rock star team.

Outside the office, Leann enjoys traveling with her incredible husband, raising her beautiful baby boy, and caring for her rambunctious rescue pup!

Jenna was born and raised in the small town of Albany, TX (population about 1,200)! She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sport Science from Howard Payne University and joined Thorn right away. Jenna has been instrumental in Thorn's outstanding national reputation, recruiting talent for some of Thorn's top and most valuable clients. Her clients rave about her quality, communication, and dedication to client satisfaction.

Outside of Thorn, Jenna loves spending time with her husband, Nick and two daughters, Sara & Emily. She loves to run and is always training for her next race. The family stays busy with its church and sports activities.

Paige grew up in Plano, TX and graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Management. Shortly after graduation, she joined Thorn Recruitment as an Executive Recruiter. Over the past 10 years, Paige has earned several promotions, most recently stepping into the role of President and Owner of Thorn.

As President, Paige is focused on building new partnerships and strengthening existing client relationships through a consultative, solutions-oriented approach. She is passionate about helping companies navigate their most challenging hiring needs while also mentoring and empowering her team to grow and succeed in their own careers. Her dedication to recruitment research and talent strategy continues to drive her leadership and Thorn’s ongoing success.

Outside of work, Paige enjoys spending time with her 7-year-old daughter, 3-year-old son, and her high school sweetheart–turned–husband. She loves traveling, cheering on Texas Tech sports, watching her daughter at gymnastics and soccer, and exploring new restaurants around the DFW area. In her spare time, she volunteers with the PTA at her children’s school or unwinds with a good book.

Ariel grew up in Plano, TX and graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduation, she joined Thorn as a TA intern to learn more about recruitment and the business. After a year of learning, Ariel decided to accept a full-time role at Thorn to help the team recruit the best talent. She has since been promoted to Talent Acquisition Partner, where she helps talented individuals find their dream jobs and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Ariel has already helped Thorn’s clients with several hires and looks forward to more to come!

Jeremy grew up in Rockwall, TX, and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. He also studied International Business and Marketing while living abroad in Oslo, Norway.

Jeremy has spent more than 15 years working in Executive Search and Talent Acquisition with some of the world's most prestigious Talent Management and Retained Search organizations, such as Thorn, Kingsley Gate, and Korn Ferry.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Jeremy provides a highly consultative and thorough approach to helping both clients and candidates navigate their way through the recruitment process.

Outside of work, Jeremy is an avid sports fan, an outdoors enthusiast, a comedy and illusionist fan, and a natural foodie. He enjoys spending time with his family gathered in the kitchen or at the dinner table, sharing stories and cooking. Sports are typically on the agenda on any given day while planning road trips, seeing the world, and exploring national parks is a major part of his life.
